Kosciuszko Park Fieldhouse

Kosciuszko Park Fieldhouse includes meeting spaces, a gym, ADA accessible bathrooms, elevator, combination gymnasium and assembly hall with a performance theater stage, a small kitchen. Hall and club room facilities are available for rental. -Photo by Lee Helmer

Divvy Station at Kosciuszko Park

There is a Divvy Station at Kosciuszko Park, located in the southeast section of the park, adjacent to the fiedhouse. Also located near the turf field, visible from Springfield Ave or Schubert.

HISTORY FROM THE CHICAGO PARK DISTRICT

Dedicated in 1916, Kosciuszko Park takes its name from Polish patriot Thadeuz Kosciuszko (1756-1817), who is honored around the world as a military leader and of freedom advocate. Architect Albert A. Schwartz designed a Tudor revival-style fieldhouse, expanded in 1936 to include an assembly hall. The Chicago Park District built a natatorium there in the 1980s.
