Coffee, Brunch, Etc

Most of Hermosa's food + drink establishments are along the major streets with few middle of the block corner stores. This reduces traffic on the residential streets, so you'll typically find your establishments such as these on the thoroughfares.

 
 

Latin Restaurants

With over 80% of the neighborhood's population being latinx, many restaurants offer Mexican, Puerto Rican, Columbian, Cuban and other South American cuisine. Not every restaurant is listed, but here are a few noteworthy establishments in and around Hermosa.

Beer, Cider + Cocktails

Hermosa is generally a family-oriented neighborhood, so while it does not have a bar on every corner, it does have craft beer.  Some are open weekends, other for special events.

As for bars and drinking establishments, notable mentions are The Levee  near the Healy Metra Station and the Astoria Lounge (on the Irving Park border), [closed] which is also known for it's latin and polish dancing nights and Avondale's Sleeping Village.
